Please share this opportunity with 9-12 CS students.

The Congressional App Challenge is the official STEM competition of the U.S. House of Representatives. Each year, Members of Congress host contests for middle and high school students in their districts, encouraging them to learn to code and inspiring them to pursue careers in computer science.

This year’s competition is underway, with students’ submissions due by November 1.

Students can code apps on any topic, for any platform, using any coding language, making this the perfect addition to your fall classroom plans. Over 300 participating Congresspeople will each select one winning team from their district to be honored alongside other App Challenge winners at the U.S. Capitol in Washington in spring.
