HTNE is a free 36-hour hackathon that will be held virtually June 5-7.
Hi,

I’m Saadwi Balaji, a high school senior and part of the organizing committee for Hack the Northeast: a free 36-hour hackathon that will be held virtually June 5-7. I’m reaching out to see if you would like to invite students from near you to participate in Hack the Northeast.

A hackathon is a primarily computer science focused event where students can work in teams of 2-4 people to make a project (typically apps, websites, or games) to further their knowledge of computer science. Students will work on this project for 36 hours and will learn a lot in the process. Anyone can participate and we will be hosting workshops that cater to a variety of skill levels, plus we will have experienced mentors available. HTNE is free and any high schooler can attend!

The team at HTNE is working hard to make this event memorable and exciting, so we are want to get as many high schoolers as possible to take advantage of this opportunity. We hope some of your students are able to join us. Can you spread the word about our hackathon to your faculty or students?

Thanks,

Saadwi B.
