Hello again, DFW-CSTA Teachers!
Last school year was the "comeback" of the TCEA contests. A handful of teachers have been hard at work making sure the TCEA Computer Science contest would return for 2019-2020. Well... it's happening!
TCEA Computer Science website: https://tcea.org/student-contests/computer-science-contest/
For us DFW folks, the date for the Super Area contest is Saturday, December 14th. This date was chosen because Keller's contest is on December 7th, and we didn't want conflicts. Host location is tentatively UT Dallas.
I encourage y'all to participate in the TCEA contest. UIL is restrictive when it comes to progressing through the ranks (one team per district/region advances, wildcard rules, etc). TCEA allows novices and advance-level students to participate and two teams per school can advance to the state level.
