School teachers should register their teams @ https://utd.link/hspc-reg (register IN-PERSON teams only, No need to register teams that will compete ONLINE). Teachers have to validate the team names on that day, for the teams to qualify for prizes. Each team can have max 3 members.

Languages supported: C, C++, Java, Python, and Kotlin
IDEs: Eclipse, VS Code, Code Blocks, and MS Visual Studio (online IDEs may be OK as well)

Actual Contest will run 1-4pm. You can setup the teams now, join the contest now and get ready:

If you are high school student & your school officially participates, please reach out to your CS teacher to form the teams (One student from each team should sign up for the contest, then click on View my team to add other team members). Email jeyv@utdallas.edu if there are any questions.

BTW, you can visit any of the current open contests to practice with Kattis environment - https://open.kattis.com/contests lists all the current & upcoming & old contests.

The contest, which follows ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) style, is held twice a year on the UT Dallas campus with UT Dallas CS professors Chalam Chitturi and Jey Veerasamy, overseeing the contest, assisted by UT Dallas CS students.

Custodial Responsibility Disclaimer: The University of Texas at Dallas Computer Science department will not take custodial responsibility of minors while participating in this coding contest. Custodial responsibility will remain with teachers (K-12), parents, legal guardians, and chaperones, for the whole duration of the contest.
